BlueMaple is a security software company. We build tools that give people a clear, honest answer to one of the hardest questions in security: has this computer been compromised?
Our first product: Magentic
Magentic by BlueMaple is an AI compromise assessment app. It investigates a computer for signs of compromise and explains what it finds in plain language, including how confident it is. Magentic is in private development.
Magentic isn’t antivirus and it isn’t EDR. It sits between antivirus, EDR, and digital forensics, and answers the question those tools leave open. Read more in our guide to compromise assessment.
What we believe
- Security answers should be understandable. If a person can’t act on an answer, the answer isn’t finished.
- Confidence should be earned and stated. Good investigators say how sure they are, and what they couldn’t see.
- Expert investigation shouldn’t require an expert. The judgment behind a professional compromise assessment can be built into software that anyone can use.
